For a few months, our water seemed to be getting much harder. I had to scrape the limescale from inside the toilet drain and other spots every week or so. Then I noticed, in a dark corner of the basement, that the scale blaster that had been in place for more than ten years, had failed and was no longer working. It had been an expensive purchase, so when I found it couldn't be revived, I began shopping around. I saw this de-scaling system on Amazon and was amazed it was so inexpensive, but I figured it was worth a try. I'm so glad. Today, just a couple of weeks after it was installed on oour copper inlet piping, I find my toilet flushing completely with no issues. The water also seems to run out of filtered faucets, much better. If your water is leaving scale deposits, try this de-scaler. It works for us!

It is important to know that this device does not remove calcium or lime from your home. But what it does do is release it from the pipes and seems to convert it into a fine dust like substance prior to installing we had issues with all our faucets building up Deposits. It took a few months to work, but now we are having no issues with deposits building up in our plumbing.

Lo instalé de inmediato de acuerdo a las instrucciones. Un par de semanas después no hay cambios en el agua

I like how easy it was to install. All you need is an outlet near point of installation.I saw significant improvement in our water within the 1st 2 weeks.I don't have any water softener or filtering system for our well water. We have very sandy soil and not much iron in our water. We did however have a lot of lime scale build up showing on our toilet bowls and sink surfaces. This product eliminates that build up almost entirely, and whatever does build up now, easily cleans off instead of having to scrub.

First, a little info as to how we are using this: we have well water so I installed a whole house sediment filter prior to my water softener (WS). The WS has a 'salt saver' setting, which means that the recharge uses a lot less salt in the process but also has less effectiveness and must be recharged more often, usually after about 7 days.I installed this unit on the pipe coming out of the WS. We've had it for two weeks and this is the result; literally, on the first day, we noticed that a lot less hand soap was needed. After several days, my wife (who is very picky) said that she is using less than HALF of the amount of laundry soap that she was using before. After 11 days, I did a recharge on the WS even though I didn't think I needed it. In spite of having a whole house sediment filter, we always got rust stains in the water closets of our toilets. I checked this the other day and found that the stains are gone, so I'd have to believe that this unit is also 'cleaning' out the rest or our plumbing, including the hot water tank.It is hard to impress me, but this has done the trick. I'm seriously thinking that when the day comes to replace the WS, I will just add another filter and skip the WS, which would be a huge savings. In all, this is a very effective product that really worked for me.

I bought and installed this 3 months ago. I hate the feel of slippery softened water and don't want to drink salt! 2 months ago I unplugged the water softener and now just use this device. I have been watching for signs of mineral build up such as plugged shower nozzles and toilet build up but have not seen any. Seems to work fine on very hard Regina Water :-)
