We got these hooks to help clean up our girl's dress-up closet, which has a myriad of hats, belts, and shoes littered across the floor. I believe these clips will be just the ticket for that, however for the average person who is looking to use these to hang other items up, this review will be aimed at my other use...my closet.I have multiple hats, belts and shoes that could use a good place to store. These clip hooks initially seemed to be a good choice for that. The clip hooks are sturdy and have a strong holding clip to hold larger items. The black color makes them less noticeable. The only thing keeping them from receiving a 5-star rating from me is the size of the hook. We have normal size clothes rods in our closet and the hooks have to be squeezed over the rods, which also means they are hard to get off the rods. Not a deal breaker, since you can just unclip the item you need and leave the hook in place, but a bit of adjustment in the size would allow for easy removal and placement on the rods.Otherwise, these are nice clip hooks to help get things up off the floor.Good product.

The product description dimensions are accurate and their claim about well constructed is correct too. These things are great. Couple this with some paracord rope, knowledge of a alpine loop and you can make hooks or clips anywhere! The clippy part is very sturdy and is padded to prevent it digging into your stuff. I actually did hang one of my heavy waterproof boots on there and it was holding good on its own. You need to jostle it around to get it to fall off. The spring in the clip isn't protected, so not sure how long it could last in damp conditions. I will use these to help hang stuff in bathroom, I will come back and say something if it doesn't hold up and rusts. The hook part is very well constructed, like it says they are capped off so it doesn't snag your clothes. Flip this thing around and what you can clip this too now has a little hook! I guess the only drag is that the spacing for the hook is just big enough to snug-ly hang off of my closet clothes rod.I might just buy more of these!

The metal for the actual hook part is extremely hard to bend while the metal for the clips is pliable. The center of the clip is the bottom part of the metal hanger so there is no way for the clips to be removed from the hook.I tried to bend one of the hooks to change the angle the clip would hang, but I could not do it. Strong metal makes up the hook. The ends of the hook and clips are coated in plastic. The plastic on the hook is fairly easy to remove and put back on. The plastic at the end of the clips can also be removed but It didn’t seem like I could remove it without damaging/stretching it so I have not done so. I don't really know why one would remove that part as it appears the metal underneath will be sharp. It's in place to keep the clip from damaging whatever it holds. There isn't any texture on the inside of the plastic at the clip mouth. The plastic feels somewhat tacky itself so it seems to create some friction with most of the materials I use it on to hold things in place. The clips themselves are pretty strong and have held its strength after multiple tugs and uses. I use these to hold curtains up on my windows, as well as various materials and blankets to air them out and reduce wrinkles when drying after laundry. The paint on the clips does scratch off really easily, they are metal silver underneath. The enamel covering on the hook seems to stay on and hos not cracked off. These are very easy to use. I do have issues with the hooks coming off the rods when opening and closing my curtains. Would be nice if the hooks where more circular, essentially have more length/bend to them. It's always the hook coming of the rod, the clips themselves hold onto the fabric really well.I'd recommend using these for stationary hanging clips.

Tinfol Boot Hanger Clips, 16Pcs Laundry Hooks Hanging Clips, Portable Clothespins, Space Saving Clips Hooks, Multifunctional Hangers Clip, for Closet, Travel, Jeans, Hats, Tall Boots, Towels (Black)I wanted these for general use around my home and shop. I don't hang my boots, but I did test these out on my boots to see how they worked. For thin/lightweight boots (thin material or lightweight kid boots), you can hold a pair with a clip; or for thicker boots (thick sided boots like Bogs or snow boots), you'll need one clip per boot.I'm using them for hanging lots of random things around my home, from hand towels to temporary curtains to pairing mittens on the coatrack. They're also handy for hanging awkward items on the gridwalls in my shop. I may put them to work in my pantry as well.
