Got this for a good bit of fencing. Worked great. Couldn’t figure out how to release the tension for a bit. It wasn’t super intuitive but that’s on me for not reading the instructions.

I used this straight out of the box today to pull a small 1.2 ton work truck 2 meters off of muddy patch and back onto the asphalt. The ratcheting mechanism didn't work very well and then the metal bracket that held the hook snapped. The metal just shattered. Mangled my hand, sent me to the hospital, and sent the work truck down down a valley smashing into a tree. I highly doubt there was anything close to 2 tons worth of force involved here. I would only use this for pulling fence tighter or other very low risk tasks.

I was unable to use it because the cable cannot be moved to lower the moveable hook even when the tension lever on the hook wheel is in the position to allow the cable reel to move freely.

you really need to add some instructions that show people how to use this tool, the paper you sent with it is totally worthless, but a good thing for the internet so people can see how to use this tool until you start adding proper instructions!!
