It is easy to clean, light, and has a slot for my hand. It is great to be able to flip it over for meat and non-meat uses. It is slender and much easier to store than most of my cutting boards.

This is my second one. I ruined the first one by putting a piece of burning rubber on it (don't ask.) I missed it so much that I had to get another one. I LOVE THIS CUTTING BOARD. It is excellent. It is very, very "hard" which is great for chopping onions and garlic. It is also super nice looking and a nice size. I keep it on top of my much larger teak board (teak is excellent but expensive.) I do NOT put this in the dishwasher - as the white, poly side wouldn't do well in the dishwasher, I'm afraid. If you don't mind hand washing it, it's fabulous. It would be a terrific housewarming gift.
