Easy Setup

If you want to use advanced features of the adapter such as Soft AP, you can install the TP-LINK utility to access those functions.
Create a Hotspot with the SoftAP Feature
Whenever there is only wired Internet connection, you can activate the SoftAP function of the Archer T4U after installing the bundled utility software, and create a Wi-Fi hotspot for mobile devices. Lo compré pq mi motherboard no tenia wifi e iba a cambiar de lugar mi servidor sin acceso a un cable ethernet, pero aun actualizando los drivers, siguiendo troubleshooting no pude hacer que este dispositivo funcionara bien, ya que presentaba desconexiones al azar, una vez que se desconectaba ya no era posible hacerlo funcionar sino quitando y poniendo el dispositivo, en fin intente de todo hasta que compre otro adaptador de otra marca mas barato y estable.

Después de buscar opciones para una tarjeta inalámbrica para mi nueva PC, esta fue la más me convenció, el precio fue bastante aceptable además de que tiene buen alcance.

Me gusto que la conexion al wifi se da rapidamente en cuanto se inserta al puerto USB. No me gusto que en ocasiones (1 de cada 20 veces quiza) cuando se inicia la computadora, hace falta desconectar y reconectar el dispositivo, tampoco me gusto que es tan grande que estorba a los puertos adyacentes.

I am happy with product. Download and install drives for linux from their website.Note: The kernel supported is upto 4.11.x while the latest kernel is 5.x so think wisely. If you need support of latest tech and harware, don't buy it (for e.g. after downgrading to 4.11.x I am not able to USB-Tether my android phone)

Recientemente compré una gaming-computer de escritorio para usar la tarjeta de video para procesamiento de datos (machine learning). Desafortunadamente, la ubicación en donde usaría el equipo no contaba con cable ethernet cercano y a mi equipo le faltaba el adaptador wifi. Después de evaluar varias opciones, este adaptador caía en una buena relación entre precio - calidad.Hasta el momento mi experiencia con este producto ha sido excelente. Lo he usado en Windows (no es necesario instalar nada, el sistema operativo detecta e instala los drivers automáticamente) y en Linux (Ubuntu, en donde tuve que instalar un par de cosas desde la terminal pero nada que no se pueda encontrar fácilmente en internet).También vale la pena mencionar que el cuarto en donde tengo mi equipo recibe muy poca señal de wifi y aún así he podido navegar sin problemas. Recomendado.

Compre esta tarjeta de red de gama alta por que compre un Tp-Link Archer AC-2600 el cual puedes conectar hasta en 2600 Mhz en la banda AC. La tarjeta que mi Lap tiene es máximo de 150 Mhz y cuando se conectaba en mi router lo hacia en un máximo de 150 Mhz y cuando veía algún video alojado en mi router existia un retraso que si eres exigente notaras como molesto. Cuando compré esta dispositivo pude notar la diferencia en cuanto la velocidad en acceso a los archivos alojados en el SDD alojado en mi router. Sin duda alguna cuando pruebes esta tarjeta (si tienes puertos USB3) pensaras que el recurso en el router esta en tu Lap o PC por la velocidad en que se muestra. Sin duda alguna Tp-Link ha demostrado nuevamente lo bueno que son sus proiductos

They are working great for me! I say "they" since I bought 2 of these, one for each of my PC's that I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to 10. One note of interest - I did the Win 10 upgrades in mid-April 2016, so I think the Win 10 changeover has already worked through many of the issues others have noted from older installs.I had no issues upgrading either of my PC's to Win 10 other than the wifi went wonky on both after completing the installs. I previously was using ancient Medialink wifi adapters and after doing a little research found that they were not going to cut it with Win 10. I already have an Archer / TP-Link C9 router, so I looked into Archer / TP-Link wifi adapters since I have been very pleased with the C9. I ended up buying this one due to the features and reviews, though was a little perplexed by some of the negative reviews.In my case though, they were both totally plug and play with Windows 10. I did nothing other than eject the previous wifi adapter using the Windows eject hardware icon, then installed the new Archer T4U and Windows did the rest. Totally plug and play. Again I think that maybe since I waited to upgrade Windows until mid April that they worked out the previous issues people were having.I have one of them on 5GHz (the computer next to the router) and the other on 2.4GHz (the one farthest from the router). Both are working flawlessly, no drop outs, no need to reset or anything like that. And I'm getting speeds about 10% above what my ISP quotes, so really happy with the speeds I'm getting on both bands.I did not install any of the Archer software or drivers at all, I am just using whatever Windows 10 setup for them. I was ready to have to download drivers based on what others have said in their review, but in my case they were totally plug and play - could not have been easier.One thing to mention is that these are pretty big. I ended up using the nice extender cable that came with and plugged that in to open USB3 ports on the computers and then plugged the T4U's into the other end of the cables (note that the cables are directional - you can only plug them in one way). The extender cables are really nice and are a heavy gauge. I like this setup so that I can put the wifi adapters where I can see them so I can see the heartbeat light just to make sure all is well.Overall I am completely satisfied with the T4U's working with Windows 10. I am getting great speeds and 100% uptime so far in over a week on both computers. Not sure if they are working so well since I have an Archer C9 router, or if it is because I did the Windows 10 update recently after Microsoft fixed previous install issues, but in any event I am very happy with the purchases. Thanks for reading. (should I run into any issues down the road I will update' this review).

Estaba buscando un nuevo adaptador inalámbrico por que el que tenía ya superaba los 9 años y cambie de router.Hasta el momento no ha presentado fallas trabaja muy bien con el Router TP-Link Archer C9 Router Gigabit de Banda Dual.
