Upgraded from an earlier model product. What I like about this unit is the wifi-is strong and reliable. I also use the USB ports, and these are much better than prior models. With double the transfer rates and greater reliability. Plug an external HDD into the USB port, and this makes a very good network HDD host as well. I only wish it hosted USB-C. But the USB-3 and the USB-2 (it has both plugs), work well enough.

Just received a few days ago (Feb-2025). As a NOOB to the router world this was fairly easy to set up and add a router VPN (for security from most data miners, etc..). I do not have a large area to cover and almost all my gear is dual band so this was almost an over the top upgrade over my Internet service's rental router. I wanted to do a property wide VPN vs. having to keep configuring device level VPNs and also have the capacity for three band gear if/when I get it. This unit (AXE95-TP-Link AXE7800) fills the bill.I do wish the TP-Link tether app had VPN switching capabilities as of right now one has to log onto the router from a computer to make those changes. Other than that...5 stars!Great speed, great options on the router for configurations ( most beyond my pay grade) and very good features.

Compared to old router using same modem connection it is noticeably faster. Fairly easy to set up and has been working great so far.

So far this router has continued to function. I have had two other TP Link routers in the last two, three years. The previous two died and went in the bin. I need a good router for the many devices I have going around around the house. TP Link seems to offer such at reasonable prices. This one seemed to be under powered compared to the other two I had from TP Link. But, out of frustration I turn off most of the default setting except the ones I knew I needed and voila - happy camper. Keeping all the security cameras going all at once is great. Many of the cameras are used to monitor horse barn and paddocks.

Wi-Fi 6 doesn't work completly 👺and it' USA product that doesn't support gulf country with the support team, why you cheating me!!
