I was not able to have more than 400 Mbps (600 hired) but it is enough for daily use. It is connected directly by cable to the main modem.

I pretty much have had good success with TP-Link products. To accomplish what I wanted in my home and detached garage, I was using 3 of their WiFi repeaters, all having to have separate names. My cell signal here is low, so I often have to depend on WiFi calling. Moving from the home to the garage or backyard, one of those repeaters would drop out,my phone didn’t necessarily pick up on the strongest next repeater. A family member would call, my phone wouldn’t ring, then I’d get a text from them asking “Are you OK?”I decided to try this mesh system and it eliminated that problem. All the repeaters are named the same name and same password, so it works flawlessly. Do note that theoretically you lose one of these repeaters since it’s is connected to your wireless router with a cable right next to it. Yes, you get 3 units, but in order to get the coverage I wanted (and maybe it was overkill), I added a fourth.I have a few outside WiFi cameras, so I put emphasis on repeater placement on that side of the house. That worked well and they paired up well. So far they seem to hold the signal better than the separate TP-Link repeaters I was using.This mesh system’s signal is strong and EASY TO SET UP IF YOU USE THEIR DECO APP ON YOUR PHONE!!! I can’t emphasize that enough!!Everything streams well, walking around I stay connected well to WiFi and don’t get the texts asking me if I’m OK. That alone will was worth the purchase so my family could immediately get me when they called.I definitely recommend these!!

I bought the TP router based on the price and decent reviews. So far, the Wi-Fi has been working well, though it’s still in the testing phase. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is due to the customer service experience. I knew I’d likely be directed to an overseas call center, and I’m not the best with foreign accents. After an hour of back-and-forth with the rep, I was told the issue would be escalated to another team.It turned out the issue wasn’t with the router but with my cable provider needing to reset things on their end, something I figured out after reading other reviews. Once I called my cable company and they did the reboot, everything worked perfectly. Customer service should have known about this common issue, and I wish the rep had been more knowledgeable and less frustrated. Despite this, the router itself works great!

Trabajo en una empresa de telecomunicaciones y puedo decirles que estos equipos pasan desde muros gruesos hasta espacios confinados, unas chuladas en cuanto a alcance y velocidades, no los he llevado al límite pero supongo incluso con velocidades altas se deben comportar a la altura. La app es intuitiva y cuesta nada el configurarlos. No me arrepiento.

I have 4 of these throughout my house. They work wonderfully and I have no complaints. Definitely boosts my wifi so I can use it outside of the house.

Tenía cortes en mi internet y también latencia. Cuando instalé estos equipos Mesh todo se solucionó. Así mismo el internet en el segundo piso mejoró notablemente.

Lo recomiendo 100%, toda la casa ahora tiene señal y ya no tenemos perdidas por estar conectados muchos a la vez. La unica razon que pongo 4 estrellas es porque no puedo conectarlo a Alexa, dado que el Skill no esta soportado en Mexico.

Su instalación es sin mayor tema de las más fáciles, puedes cacharrear con las c9nfigurafiones de tu red y monitorizar la actividad.Extiende la señal muy lejos, incluso atravesando muros y columnas (probado en 3 pisos)

Despues de batallar con extensores de wifi, este sistema lo resolvio de una vez por todas, covertura en toda la casa con dos unidades (250 m2 aprox.) ademas de que es super facil de instalar, sin configuraciones complicadas, practicamente la app lo hace todo. Es recomendable tener una conexion de por lo menos 100 mbps pare aprovecharlo al 100% pero igual funciona con conexiones mas lentas.

I had a simple setup, which most of us have in our home a ISP router with a Wifi AP point installed in a central location. As I started adding more and more devices I started to have issues with the ISP setup and started looking for options. TP link was on sale and had read good things about the Mesh WiFi. No more dead spots and consistently get good speeds all around. Initially had a lot of trouble with the setup, contacted TP link support which I believe is still out of China. I had to undergo a lot of Troubleshooting with the TP link engineer which took two weeks and the final outcome was to RMA the devices. I have read forums and looks like some of these devices do have issues. TP link RMA policy is to ship the units back before they send a replacement. They do not pay for shipping. So if you have issues contact Amazon for replacements immediately.Pros:-1.) Easy to setup. Deco app guides through the process of installation and also is less buggy.2.) Homecare which comes by default for lifetime on the these devices is a good selling point3.) Parental controls are good, at least I found them to be good for my purpose4.) Have tested a 3 device setup with almost 60 devices turned on at a given time and it has worked as expected5.) Have not had issues with smart devices which only use 2.4GhzCons :-1.) Some of the new devices are plagues by issues which results in replacement of the entire unit. I had to replace 3 of my units2.) TP link should be open about hardware revisions and what changes they bring in with such revisions3.) RMA policy requires owners to bear shipping cost, not like Amazon return4.) Turn around time to get a senior engineer at TP link to work on troubleshooting could take 2 weeks, since I believe engineers are in China.
