it's the little things. i like how this switch's activity indicator seems to have a higher refresh rate than my other switches. i also like the switch's simple built-in UI. it's a high quality, high value device that does everything i need it to do.

A very reasonably priced managed switch. I own and have owned/used Cisco SG2xx/3xx and CBS250/350 switches. They did not have any 2.5GbE switches. Did my research and bought this model. It comes with mounting brackets to install in a rack, power cord and a console cable (RJ-45 to DB-9). Being able to mount in my rack was important. The web management of the unit is not bad either. Will update once I get my setup completed and tested.OK, I have put the unit in place and tested it. It is working and have tried various 10Gtek SFP & SFP+ modules and they work. It took me a little while to get things working as I am used to Cisco and this unit has a different layout for setup. Will need to get another unit so I can have 2 LAG ports per the 5 systems that I can install dual NICs into that I need to move lots of data over.What is also nice is that you can either manage it through the web GUI or you can use hardware/software controller.

Bought this for my home office/lab, when I finally ran 10GB fiber to the room. My old TP-Link SG2008 8-port gigabit switch still worked fine, but didn't have a 10GB SFP+ uplink port. I don't have any 2.5G devices connected to it, but the 10GB ports work great and I get proper speeds from my workstation with a 10GB NIC connected to my file server.This switch has been reliable and with no fan, it's silent. The TP-Link Omada line is solid pro-sumer gear. Had it at home for 6+ years at this point with zero issues.
