These swim shorts work great for my nephew. They are not overly tight and fit perfectly. The material is light weight even when it is wet. It does not ride up when you are swimming which is great. The material is easy to wring out so you can get them dry quicker if you are using it again later. The color is nice and has not faded. There are secure pockets that allow you to carry small items like a key for your locker. The pull string is nice so you are able to secure the pants on. They are comfortable and does not ride up when you are swimming or getting out of the pool. They are easy to wash in the washer but I do recommend air drying so you do not have to worry about the band wearing down. The stitching is nice and I see no holes or frays. Overall these swim trunks work great for my nephew. They are comfortable for him, easy to wash and dry, and you can easily swim in this without adding additional weight. The color and design is really nice. There are no issues with fraying either.

Nice fit.The inner liner is thin, lightweight stretch material but smooth to the skin.Outer material has a nice ombre printed pattern.Drawstring waist helps my son wear a little larger and grow into it.Nice value for the price.

I ordered the YGDSX brand swim trunks in the ‘Blue Lines’ pattern, size 14-16 Years. Using the size chart provided, my kid seemed to be more of a size 10-12 Years but we wanted something that would be usable for a while as he grows.The outer fabric has a nice appearance and a pleasant combination of shades of blue. It is pretty thin but at least seems like it will hold up for quite some time in the pool. It’s reasonably soft (not as soft as our previous pair, but not irritating to the skin.) The fabric has one small grommet on the side pocket and one on right rear hip, which I can’t figure out the purpose of unless it’s to help the water drain a bit more easily?The ‘compression liner’ is quite a bit looser around the thigh than our previous pair. It’s more liner than compression, although it is a stretchy fabric.There are three pockets. One is lined with the same material as the outer shorts. The two side pockets at the hip are made of a white mesh material. None of them have a Velcro closure to help contain a key to a swim locker or whatever you may have, but seem convenient for when you’re not actually in the water.While the waistband technically does have *some* stretch to it, it’s not the typical elastic waistband that I was expecting from the listing description. When laid flat with the drawstring tied, it only stretches about 1/4" (our other pair of swim shorts with a drawstring still stretches over 3” when tied.) I like that the drawstring runs the entire waist because it makes it easy to cinch the waist of these slightly large shorts in to fit. They feel like shorts that my son will be able to continue to wear as he gets bigger.Care instructions on the tag inside the shorts: ‘HAND WASH ONLY; DO NOT SOAK OR BLEACH; DRY IN SHADE; DO NOT DRY CLEAN; DO NOT TUMBLE DRY; DO NOT IRON’ We machine washed these in cold water on the delicate cycle and hung to dry with no issues.The shorts performed just fine during a swim lesson. Besides their functionality, I’d say their best feature is just the appearance. Everyone in my family thinks they look really nice in person.

These fit my son very well and very comfortable. He is 11 and about an adult small or youth 14/16.

I ordered these swim trunks in size 8 for my tall 7 year old son. They look great on him but we do have to tie the waist up for them to stay on because the waist is pretty big. He loves the color and how comfortable they are. The inside is sooo soft! It had a nice little size pocket on the right side.
