Works great for wine glasses/ beer glasses. When sitting outside in the bugs like your alcoholic drink or anything else just put one of these on top and press down just a little bit creating a suction at will stay right on top of your glass and keep the bugs out. Work great

My husband likes to sit outside in the morning to drink his coffee, but was constantly fighting aGnat and fly problem. These work great at preventing bugs in your drink.

This pack of four wine glass covers (one each of red, blue, purple, green) are handy to keep wasps or other bugs away from your wine while out on the patio. The silicone covers are 4 inches / 10 cm in diameter with a centre lifting tab and two decorative raised rings moulded into the perimeter area. They look kind of festive in action. The little lifting tabs are not too useful in practice. Because the silicone material develops an air-tight seal when you lift up on the tab, you will lift the wine glass if you try to lift the covers off by lifting up on the tabs. Instead, it is better to lift from the edge of the cover and then it easily lifts away. Overall, they will do the trick!

At first I was disappointed when I put it on my wine glass because it wasn’t an exact fit. But now I realize it’s not supposed to fit exactly. This can be used for many different glasses. And although it’s very easy to take off the glass, rest assured it does seal effectively on the glass rim and prevents any tiny flies from getting in.The photo shows how you can test its tight seal by gently lifting the middle of the cover, and you will easily feel that it has a tight suction on the rim of the glass. I don’t recommend trying to lift the glass this way though. It’s just something you can do gently to ensure it’s tightly sealing the rim.Ever since I’ve been using these I haven’t had any flies in my wine!!Highly recommend this purchase to keep any of your beverages from getting little pesky flies in it. Especially wine!
