Mounted the solar panel on the edge of the roof and the lights on the side of the house with vinyl siding clips to light the fish pond. After a sunny day, the lights will stay lit all night on low setting.

Great option for our front lawnIsland here in the Florida sunshine . Good sized solar panel seems to capture the sun strength - I hide it partially behind a low birdbath . When the wired lights turn off these stay on a good bit longer . Low profile fixtures too. I like em .

So my mom gave me a small little tree to plant in my yard. She was thinking maybe in the backyard, out of the way, just for fun. Well I planted that little baby tree right in the front yard, center stage, baby. And then, to call attention to it, I bought these solar lights to light it up at night. Bingo! Just what the doctor ordered to set my little tree apart. My neighbors love it, lit up like a stately redwood, but bite sized. I even had a stealthy neighbor sneak into my yard and decorate it at some point. I don’t know who did it, but my little tree is lit up like the Washington monument at night, wearing its Christmas ornaments with pride. I highly recommend lighting up any tree with these lights. The smaller the better.

Note: My update as of 8-5-24 (i bought this in July 2024). If the sun is not shining well, the 2 flashlights are totally no light, zero light. To the manufacturer, make a solar panel that is fast charging & a battery that can store more energy from the sun.I like because: I can place the solar panel facing the sun because it's separate from the flashlight, solar panel is big. For the brightness -- the low light is really low but the high light is good 'coz it's really bright, the material they used in the flashlight is sturdy. The 2 flashlights has its own long cord which are connected to the solar panel. My a bit dislikes are: for the flashlight --the circumference is small, only 1 LED light inside the flashlight (I wish more than 1 LED lights inside the flashlight), the spike to use to stand the flashlight is short 'coz it's only 1 spike (wish a bit longer spike if only 1). For the solar panel -- only 1 spike & it's short, just a bit sturdy considering it is holding the big solar panel but the spike is not so bad at all.Hope the manufacturer or the seller can read my feedbacks & they will use it to improve the effectiveness of their solar light products. In 2023, I bought another brand but the solar panel is attached to the light, & it's really giving a bright light 'coz the flashlight is wide & has 18 LED bulbs inside, plus the lumin is 200 when it's on low & 600 if on high & solar panel is big & watts is above 2.5. Even if less sunlight, it still give light in the evening.Up to now they don't make a solar light with separate panels & lights.

I probably wanted a light that was more "flood" and less "spot". I am using these in a down-light configuration, and they might be better suited for an up-light application. However, they are performing well. Even on these short, overcast winter days the lights come on for several hours. So, the collector and the batteries are performing well. The little U-shaped bracket that holds each light must be completely removed in order to screw it into something solid. That was annoying. Dropping a single tiny screw could be a problem! The solar collector has a similar problem. It's really hard to angle your driver to screw it into something. Lastly, I'd prefer if it came on earlier. It seems to wait until after dark, then come on.Update: One year later. Still going strong, working well.
