Overall I really like this retractable leash. My hands are small so works for me. Bigger hands would have a problem. They should make it a little bigger. Has held up great! Quality is spot on!

I got this for training my new pup to be a service dog. Where I work requires my dog to always be on a leash. The play area available during work is only on the work campus. I attach this Tuge leash to her training leash so she has added length to run around during her free and play time in the grass.

Sturdy hook, opens enough to clip onto collar/harness easily. To lock is a little awkward at first but eventually becomes easy.

I got this because as a new dog mom I always thought these would be convenient for walks as my pup likes to explore. After using it for a day, I found that it's just too bulky and the leash part seems no more durable than a ribbon. Because of the bulk, I dropped it while taking my dog out of the car. My pup ran and started freaking out because it bounced everywhere behind him. I dropped it several times during a short vet visit too. During walks I tried to restrict him from going too far and the lock popped - my 9 lb dog was too strong apparently. The size of the leash is thin, like a .25" ribbon which could easily get chewed or cut. Not a good fit for us. Loved the quality of the actual handle part, I just find it easier and more convenient to stick with the conventional leash.
