I purchased a set of these last year for a solo canoe trip I did and was sold on them from day 1. Good solid material and ingeniously designed for transport and storage. This year I will be tripping with my girlfriend and bought two more sets given my utter satisfaction with last years experience.The set I bought last year were black and gray, the new sets are brighter coloured to make them easier to find and use in the dark.Easy to keep clean and the way the serrated edge on the knife is designed I had no problems cutting into food. The fully toothed fork is far superior to sporks with the spoon and fork combined.Worth every cent, I will buy these again without question.

I like how that it is the same size as household utensils. I also like that they nest together with or without the cord.However, when using the spoon, and holding it, the serrated area of the knife is sharp and uncomfortable. I have tried this on an ice cream, on ramen, and rice. Same annoying grip. It does not scratch my skin but it is annoying.It does need a little of practice to separate the 2 pieces but once you get the hang of it, it is fine.I like how bright it is and if I place this in my carry luggage or backpack, I will be able to find it easily. It also feels malleable and will not snap and break if sat upon or stepped on while camping.I will be bringing this on my international trip and one reason I got it is because it is TSA okay. It is good to have reliable cutlery for eating and sanitation too.It is also easy to clean and does not retain food stains. I hope it stays this way long term.

If you want to upgrade your Spork, I'd recommend this.It just does everything that it's supposed to, without fuss or drama.It's just really good and not massively expensive.
