Flexible, Elastic but strong, dampens the sound, keeping noise low. The 3 1/8 fits perfectly. I used the 3 inch by mistake befor it and had to wrap tape around it to make it fit

After 12 years my Waste King splash guard was way past its best before date - this one fits and the three pack should keep me going long past my sell by date. Great value .

Fit as designed. Make sure to measured your sink. There common two sizes out. This one and a big larger size about 2/8Sturdy and also helps with grinding noise. Better than the original one I replaced due to wornout

Much better quality than the one that was included with the original WasteKing model. Fits perfectly, blocks even more noise. Really well made.
