The connector is for T to EF. The EF camera is working with this, but the mirrorless was a hangover. I don't see it has a very strong magnification. Finally, I found out how to make it work with an RF camera. And change the review to 5 stars! Here is the manual:Here’s where to find it on your Canon R8:Turn on the camera and ensure it’s in a photo shooting mode (e.g., P, Av, Tv, or M). This setting might not appear in Auto or video modes.Press the MENU button to access the main menu.Navigate to the Custom Functions tab:Look for the orange camera icon (this is the Custom Functions menu). On the R8, it’s typically the second icon from the right in the menu tabs.Scroll to C.Fn 4 (Custom Function 4). This is where miscellaneous settings like this are often grouped.Find "Release shutter w/o lens":Within C.Fn 4, locate the option labeled "Release shutter without lens". It might be listed as a numbered item (e.g., C.Fn 4-1 or similar, depending on the firmware).Enable the setting:Select it and change it from "Off" (default) to "On" or "Enable".Press the SET button to confirm.Exit the menu and test the shutter again.

The far away pic is taken at 1x zoom with my phone. The close ups are signs atop the buildings with the (included) 2x tele-converter lens. I didn't use the tripod, so there may be a little motion blur, but this shows just how powerful this thing is. Taken with my Canon M50. You need an EF to EOS M Mount adapter, which I had already owned, the t mount adapter is included with the kit, and to change the settings in the camera to allow pics to be taken without a lens attached as the camera doesn't recognize a manual lens (do a Google search on how to do it - very easy).I am a beginner with photography. I look forward to finding out what this baby can do. For the price, even with having to buy an adapter for the EF to EOS M Mount adapter, you're not going to find a better deal.

Excellent Product works perfectly! one of the items was incorrect. I reached out to ultimaxxx support and they sent me a proper attachment for free! Great customer service!

Bonjour,On a un kit complet avec cet objectif, parfait pour débuter avec le focus manuel. je l'utilise pour faire du bird watching et ça marche convenablement.nécessite tout de même un pied vraiment stable pour être utilisable.
