It's a nice athletic material, but it's not the rubbery rash guard material that wicks water off. Since I purchased it for swim and sun protection, I wanted the rubbery rash guard material. Otherwise, it fits nicely as a men's medium should.

Leave the sunscreen at home. This shirt is great. I bought it for a late summer trip to Mexico. After poorly applying sunscreen for 2 days and getting burnt, the sun hurt by day 3 of my vacation. Toss on this shirt and instant relief. My trip was saved! Wore this the rest of the trip and never needed to worry about re applying sunscreen all day long. What a savior. I now use it all the time mowing lawn, kayaking, etc. it’s amazing how much it cuts the heat in the direct sun!

Nice color and camo combination. My husband wanted a lightweight spf shirt with a hood. The shirts he saw in the stores were $50. + and he didn’t want to pay that much. I saw this shirt and sent for it. Great fit and washes well.

This is my first SPF shirt. I am always outside under the sun while fishing. In the past, I scratched my palm while casting my rod constantly. I bought this shirt because it has the adjustable "finger holes" which keep the scratch from my rod. I can pull my sleeve if I am no longer using it, which is perfect!The material is very soft. The design is unique and cool looking. It is perfect for an avid fisherman. I truly recommend this hooded shirt if you are looking for a simple wear for outdoors.
