Replaced my broken brackets when I replaced the dry-rotted leather seats. I think this would be close to impossible to replace on existing seats without risk of damaging the seat material, especially if it’s original (20+ years old)

I had large holes in seat where the last owner ripped the old one off but there was enough leather to put this unit on. It works great. I don’t know how you would install without removing the seat cover in the seat was not damaged but that is probably true with OEM. I can now reach my seatbelt easily.
