I used this as a fan control switch on an old BMW. The factory switch for the low-speed fan control is no longer available, and no one makes one in this temperature range in the factory thread size. So, I used these in conjunction with some thermally-conductive adhesive to make my own. However, After I made one that fit in the plug, I also had the idea to mount one to the side of the radiator directly, and did that instead. It works perfectly. I can definitely recommend these to control the low speed cooling fan setting in pretty much any automotive application.

un po' lenti alla risposta , ma per quello che servono a me come sensori di temperatura su gruppi di batterie sono ottimi.

I got them in 2weeks I've use 3 of them they seem to work good so far

I use this to control an electric 120V ac fan next to an electric radiator. When the radiator warms up this electric switch closes and then the fan comes on to blow warm air out into the room. It comes on solid when it warms up but when it's cooling down sometimes it turns on and off a few times before staying off. It works pretty much how I expected.Cautionary note: the metal package is conductive so don't let it contact anything metal!They come in a little silicone sleeve and I kept it in the sleeve to prevent it from shorting to the metal baseboard heater case. I did short one to my heater and had to replace the plug on my fan.
