Absolute junk leaked at Idle with 22lbs of spring

It is cheap and it looks good… but it was leaking, so I took it apart and found that diaphragm wasn’t properly seated. It was punched this way since it assembled, so it is now deformed. I didn’t notice this defect when I first got it and it has now been too long to return. I hate to say it, but this is a $50 paperweight :(It is fine if you just want to mock something up, but I would use to actually control boost.

I only got this wastegate as a bypass or exhaust cutout you could say... so far ive been runing the spring at 14psi because it did bring 2 which made the wastegate 21psi snd took 1 out... i did disassemble the wastegate entirely and found a couple metal shavings from the casting and cleaned it out and re assembled it to spec... so far the fire ring is sealing no issues with it leaking and the diaphragm had one of the edges pinched out the box but so far no leaks with the car running 22-23psi

Good wastegate and cheap, the products deserve the price, very cheap and good.
