Exact product I was looking for and will probably order more. Normally use linen napkins but use these as my back up. They are useful for elegant or casual settings.

These Vanity Fair 3-ply napkins make a welcome change to the old standby cloth napkins plus I can just chunk these gems when we are through. I conducted an interesting but unscientific survey with these and found some interesting results. Keep in mind the survey is totally unscientific. We had a small 8 person luncheon a few days ago but instead of just having either paper or cloth napkins I put out both for the guests: 1 of each on each plate. My idea permitted each guest to choose which napkin to use and the results amazed me. I did not suggest anything. I did not say anything. Each guest chose the Vanity Fair and bypassed the cloth ones with a variety of comments but all positive for the Vanity Fair. Shoot. There is no reason to spend big bucks for cloth especially linen or better when I can use these and have all positive comments. The napkins are soft and strong with a simple unobtrusive design. White may be boring to some but they are at the top of my list when it comes to use. Additionally, each is just the right size for our use even on a daily basis.

I purchased these for a wedding reception, I wanted something a little more elegant than regular paper napkins but didn't want to use linen. There napkins were perfect. They are soft and thicker than normal napkins, and bigger. They have a pretty design that adds to the elegance. I would not hesitate to buy them again.

My motto is that life is too short for wimpy napkins. It's an indulgence perhaps, to spend a little more on a quality paper napkin, but I loathe those silly one-ply jumbo packed things. Which generally you need more than one or two or ten for a meal so I question the saving of money AND the planet!Use a good strong napkin. If you don't dirty it, save it for your next meal (keep it personal though)I like these or the luncheon size. Go ahead - YOU are worth it!Of course there are times when one simply must use a cloth napkin, but doubtful for everyday - so it's a toss up ecologically speaking when one considers the laundering of cloth.
