Great quality, much better than the one that was installed when I bought this house, have yet to remove and clean but expect it to be absolutely fine and it wont take long to make up on the additional cost of the regular filters so I am pleased with this so far

Bought these after a few times of forgetting to buy the filters for the HVAC. These are dramatically better and you just vacuum them or hose em clean. Easy as that. Flow and system seem to be the same, value when you add up the cost of those paper 1 time use filters over a year make these pay for themselves.Stop buying paper filters folks, spend the money and get one of these and just set a reminder to clean them every 3 months.

Fits perfectly in new furnace. Bidirectional so no need to worry about installing it the wrong way. And washable so should last for years.

I got this because my regular filters left a lot of dust inside the house and bended upwards. I have not had it long enough to really see how well it works, but the dust is way less then it was. Also the clogging of the water condensing drip is gone, which makes me think that the dust that did go thru the filters clogged the running water in the hose. We will see, but so far no wet spots on the carpet around the AC. I plan on blowing the filter out with the air compressor and reinstall it after that. If I washed it, I would need a second filter to install while the other one is drying. This one is very sturdy and seems well made. I know it reduces the dust, that much I can see already. I might purchase a second one, if the blow out method does not work. I am hoping that this will save me a lot of money over a years time.

The furnace blower works way less hard with this filter, and I swear the furnace efficiency will be higher too based on the amount of heat coming out when the blower is on low. My guess is that I'll save more on gas and furnace maintenance every year than what this cost. If anything we have less dust now than with the previous 'permanent' filter (which lasted years and which we'll use for the odd day when the new one is drying after being washed), and this one is built way tougher.
