Purchased for use with a Milwaukee 18V Battery for tent camping in the hot summer. A little loud but did the job! Metal fan cage perfect!!

RETURNED - It is surprisingly loud for such a small fan. My intention in buying it was as an option for cooling while sleeping in case of power outage. NOPE...that isn't happening. Its crazy loud and moves almost no air. I literally have 3.5 inch USB desktop fans that dwarf the air moving capacity of this bigger fan. The only part that I did like about t was that the grill around the blades was very sturdy metal. Unfortunately, a wonderfully sturdy fan that hardly blows any air is about as useless as a beautiful car without an engine. The main purpose of a fan is to move air, so if it doesn't do that then being sturdy doesn't help.

Two speed fan that works even better than I had expected it to. It's on the small size but puts out a lot of air. It's well built not cheap feeling.

If I run this on low for 3-4 hours, my battery only will be down 50%. So I imagine on a full charge you would get 7-8 hours of operation. The fan is solidly built; heavy gauge fan cage and all metal construction with the motor and cage. It easily snaps into a battery. The three way switch is small and if the fan is pointed downward slightly inaccessible, but it is not a huge issue. The fan is very powerful for such a small package. The low setting was good enough to keep me cool from 8 feet away. The high setting is almost too much.The fan makes some noise, but where I use it, it does not bother me.Other uses for this would be outdoors to keep bugs away, in a shop or garage to keep cool and camping in a tent. This is a good option if you want something other than the larger name-brand fan models.
