Great little unit for the price.Two things that let it down:1. the fitting on the end is something random, so I was quick to cut that off and put my ideal connector on it.2. I use it for hydraulic oil, and it could use a small lid, just to keep things dropping into the tank and also from any fluid movement that splashes.But otherwise, value for money is great.

I added a coupling connector on a short hose and it works fine to connect with my boiler system to pressurize and add chemicals. I found the tank is larger than necessary when doing maintenance as the volume I need to add is often much less than a liter. I found if I add in a smaller plastic bucket just under the pump intake there is less waste when I need to feed in smaller quantities.

Ease of use. As a licensed plumbing contractor for 30 plus this is great. Previously used the aluminum with check valves built in. Repaired many of them. Granted have not used this for very long but the storage tank saves from having hose attached. The only better one I have used is the old cast iron body pumps. Heavy as all get go but great. Add a little wikiing on the pump handle and good for a long time.

I used this unit to seat the bead on a frankenstein rim/tire combination. It took 90 PSI of air to seat one side but the other side refused to seat. I don't like high pressure air with rubber bladders so I opted for the safer route of water. Water doesn't explode to the same degree that air does. You might get a loud pop but you won't get a boom and a visit from the FBI. I now have a single use tool that will just gather dust but it served its purpose well and I have no regrets in buying it.

This unit looked new, and worked well. I could see no evidence of cosmetic damage described in the listing. A clearer specification for the mating fitting should be made. The thread on the pressure-hose was a female nut, 1/2" BSP, but as the seal was to the face of a rubber washer, it worked fine with a standard American 1/2" NTP male fitting. Great value; a fraction of the cost of a new unit from a plumbing supply house.
