Don't use the plastic shim that comes with this derailleur. if you need a shim use this[ https://a.co/d/anzC72o ] or something similar. The plastic shim would not prevent the derailleur from moving when I shifted, causing noise and really ugly shifts. The metal shim keeps the derailleur in place, rock solid.

The joining link broke after 2 weeks of minimal useVery poor qualityI had to tie it with metal string until I buy a shimano shifterGarbage .... never buy

Unfortunately I didn't have enough room for the shift mechanism, it sticks out behind the seat tube and interferes with the tire on my road bike. Also, the quality is not as good as the mid line Shimano brand is. However, returned for a full refund so that is good. I subsequently bought a used Shimano front derailleur, much better quality and it fit perfectly.

It is pretty nice, and I'm pretty sure it'll work. My electric bike has a 3-speed front sprocket. But the derailleur I had on it was only for two speed. So I took it off and I haven't been using the front sprocket I just leave it in the middle of the three. Now with this three-speed sprocket I will put it on and hope that it works. But I shorted out my motor on my bike in one month. So I guess I will wait till I get the replacement before I do any more work to this bike. But I'll keep you informed on what's going on with it. Looking at it closely I don't actually see where the derailleur cable goes. I looked for some instructions on the box and nothing no instructions inside so I guess I'll have to figure it out myself don't like that

it's easy to install and seems durable adjusting it is easy .
