It's a great pan. Perhaps the best pre-seasoning I've ever experienced - good release right out of the box. The only downside is the weight - because it's an everyday pan made out of cast iron, it's difficult to lift and hold the pan with one hand while transferring food to the serving dish.

L'articolo non l'ho ancora utilizzato, non posso dire nulla, la pentola l'ho acquistata per avere una serie di misure completa per fare la Paella e mi sembra una pentola di qualità. Per questa paella ho usato un formato più grande.

It is a very well made paella skillet. It works well on my induction stove. I have had no issues with food sticking to the skillet, and its thickness helps maintain heat and distribute it evenly. No issues with rust as long as you treat it properly. It is cast iron. If you have never used cast iron skillets or pots, do some research for use and care before purchasing to make sure it is what you are looking for.

We wanted a good cast iron pan for pan pizza and this was a good price. Warehouse price was even better! The seasoning was very good and has a great finish. The edges are nicely curved instead of sharp corners on a flat bottom, so you can easily scoop or pour out the contents. There is a spout as well if you need to pour off something semi-liquid.Some are commenting on rust and spots, but if you've ever used cast iron pans, this should not be news to you. Learn to keep your pan seasoned and... don't leave it outside???Oh and pizza in this pan is so good.

El único detalle es estarlo curando y si no estamos acostumbrados a estos procesos se vuelve un poco engorroso.

I love to cook with cast iron. I have an impressive collection of vintage Griswold, Wagner and Favorite Piqua pieces. But sometimes I need a really big pan. I bought 3 different vintage, size 12 skillets about this same size, two Griswolds and one Wagner. They looked great, but as soon as I heated them up they warped and began to spin on my glass cooktop. I finally gave up on very large vintage skillets. I already owned a Victoria griddle that I just love so I decided to try this Paella pan. The first thing I did after it came was to heat it up on my stove to make sure it would not warp. It didn’t. Maybe it didn’t warp because it is heavier than the vintage pieces I had bought earlier.I loved the size and shape of this pan. The surface was rougher than I had hoped. It is much smoother than the modern Lodge brand but not nearly smooth enough for my spoiled taste. So stripped all the factory seasoning by running the self cleaning cycle in my oven. I then took my angle grinder with a Diablo flap disk 80 grit and ground down the surface until it was smooth enough for my tastes. I then sanded it with a 120 grit sanding disc. I then re-seasoned it with flaxseed oil, several times. This was all a lot of work, but the result is an amazing pan that is as smooth as any of my vintage pieces. It sits perfectly flat on my glass cooktop.I’ve only cooked a couple of things in it so far, but I can tell it will be fantastic. Even heat distribution and a great curved shape.I also bought the Victoria 13 inch glass lid which fits this pan perfectly.I’ve finally solved my problem of finding a very large cast iron pan that stays flat when heated.I also love the idea that this pan was made in Colombia. I used to live in Colombia and have been to Medallin where these pans are made. I makes me feel good to cook on a pan made in Colombia.
