For a projector that isn’t even 720p it was hard to keep, for its price. This price should be 720p and up. it’s practically 480p, which is 480,360 pixels (854x480) and i did enjoy the convenience, and sounds was quite good, but the GV31 offers 4 times the pixels, over 2 million pixels in 1080p, at $499.Even GV30 offers 921,600 pixels at $249 refurbished.

If you take the speakers out of this thing, it would be worth $30. The picture quality is absolutely unacceptable for a projector with a base price of $340. 0/10 would not recommend. $300 can buy you a MUCH better projector elsewhere. View Sonic should be shamed if this product.

Easy to bring indoors to outdoors with a long battery life. Connecting Roku and AppleTV was simple.

I was choosing between el-cheapo Chinese projectors and cheap brand ones.Reviews for the formers were not that good: glitches, heating, etc. People said that picture quality was so-so even with higher claimed resolutions than of low-end brand ones. This projector is super portable, very convenient, has a lot of features, great sound. Does not overheat. Resolution is low as it's claimed, there is just no miracle.I thought between 4/5 (because of the price) and 5/5 stars. Decided to put 5. Unfortunately I have to know how pricey are decent electronic components nowadays so the price might be reasonable though not comfortable.Viewsonic has also a FullHD projector which is even cheaper, I think it should have way better picture and brightness and maybe I should have bought it. But it is heavy and bulky (3kg) and that was no-go for my small apartment..
