Worked very well and the result is solid. Make sure that you are hammering the pins evenly or they will go in at an angle

This works better then I thought.

The material is made of what appears to be heavy duty aluminum. It is a little pricy but saves so much time on not needing to solder multiple pins. Hit it a few times with a good amount of force and they stay in. The black connectors don't sit flush on the board 100% but they are close enough where I cant fit paper underneath it.

Used this to install hammer in headers in a Raspberry Pi Zero 2w and the headers are a lot easier than soldering. It does take a fair bit of hammering to fully seat the headers but they make good contact. It's a bit fiddly with small standoffs to hold the Pi in place and the posts make it hard to turn the standoffs with fat fingers like mine. Couldn't find a bit that fit the standoffs to make it easier, screws might be better than the standoffs, which aren't needed as standoffs.

It's hard to find the Pi Zero with a header already soldered on, and life is too short for me to fumble with trying to solder a 40 pin connector. Enter the Vilros hammer-in header jig.The instructions were clear and the jig easy to set up. I put my Zero in and the header and got a hammer and gave it a tap. Nope, a tap doesn't do it. You need to give it a few decent whacks. Start at the middle and work your way to the ends alternating sides. Went in nice and straight and is a secure fit. Got it right on the first try without pending any pins or damaging the Pi Zero. I have a few more zeroes around, so I'll be buying additional headers to hammer in.
