Wore this dress for a Purim party. I love that it is linen. I'll hang onto it for future events.

I purchased XL based on several comments saying the dresses tend to be small, but for me, the XL is too large. I will take it in. The linen is acceptable quality, but is typical of inexpensive linen, as it seems to be either a cotton-linen blend or is "chopped" linen, like a majority of linen that is cut to cotton fiber lengths to fit in cotton machines for quick fabrication, completely destroying the extra-long long fiber length that is the hallmark of linen. The gown's cloth is not the same quality as full-length linen fiber, which you can feel just by handling and costs a lot more. Ultimately this gown is more passably medieval-looking than much of the silly corsets, revealing costumes, and flouncy slit skirts for sale that never would have been worn in medieval or Renaissance times.

I am 37 chest and 32 waist. I ordered the XL because the event I am going to this weekend will be cold and I need to layer up. Soft material, thick enough to be light but not see thru. It fits perfect. Other colors would be nice but the off white goes with everything. If I got a large the sleeves might have been a little tight, no extra gusset in the pattern. I like it, good purchase.

Material was thick very good quality and well stitched, true to size. Bought for a medical party and I was the head cook at the castle. Love it so much I’m keeping it for the next party that I might need a costume.

I like the item, but am returning it. The sizing chart is on the large size. I will be ordering the same item, but in a smaller size.
