Very clear and pretty display case. Only issue might be that when assembling, removing the film covering each piece is quite difficult. I figured out the teardrop tool that is provided to help also has a film on it. Removing that first will help a lot.

I have a repurposed hutch made into a display cabinet that I had used to display my anime figures. Unfortunately for me, the figure that I had bought long before I purchased the cabinet, a figure that I originally intended to be the centerpiece of said cabinet, was too tall to fit on the shelf. So, I decided to look around and see if I could find a single display box for this figure, eventually deciding on this acrylic display case. For clarity, I bought the 10"x10"x14" dimensioned case. I gave it a few days before putting it together, as I had been pretty busy since it arrived, but I finally got the time to sit down and construct it today.Firstly, in terms of packaging, I thought the product was packaged effectively. The acrylic panels all came wrapped in a nice foam, each panel also covered in a thick protective film to prevent scratches when stacked on one another during shipment. The wrapped acrylic also came in a sturdy and easy to open box, fitting the other hardware inside as well. The different types of hardware were tucked inside re-sealable packets each, the packets also made of nice plastic. Hardware included in the package include the pins to attach each panel and triangular connectors together, triangular connectors for each corner of the display case, a strip of six adhesive anti-slip pads, some sound proofing gaskets in the event the door squeaks when opening, a cleaning cloth, a pair of thin cotton gloves, and finally a small teardrop shaped piece of acrylic to remove the protective layer of film on each panel of acrylic. The package came with detailed instructions on how to properly construct the case. The instructions included are in English and Japanese. There is also a QR code for an instruction video on Twitter/X. The images are detailed enough to understand how to put it together if you do not read the instructions but I would recommend pulling up the video to go alongside putting the actual case together in that scenario. When constructing, the first step is to remove the protective film on each acrylic panel. I would recommend at this point to put the gloves on as it reduces the likelihood of leaving fingerprints on the acrylic during construction. Each acrylic panel has the protective film on both sides except for the mirror pieces in which only the mirror side has the film. Removing the film can be challenging but once you understand how to do so it is not as difficult with each concurrent piece. The teardrop piece was useful sometimes and not at others in removing the film. My strategy was to find a corner of each individual piece that had some kind of exposed edge or cut in the film and work off of that. The corners in which the film edge was the least visible I did not even bother in attempting to remove it from. Once I got a corner of the film lifted the rest of the film removed fairly easily, I just used gentle force when pulling away the film. I would like to add here that I have somewhat long nails that greatly assisted in removal of the film in some cases, so my recommendation for those that do not have mid to long length nails would be to pick up some decent tweezers as they would work the same way my nails did. When all of the film is fully removed, then the actual construction begins. The manual has pictures and labels of each acrylic panel as well as installation pictures showing where each one goes. Certain acrylic panels need to be rotated a certain way to fit together properly, for example the base pieces of the top and bottom of the case, and the manual provides descriptions and pictures of the panels that require such specification. Just follow the diagram rotations and it fits together properly. Installing the triangular connectors and pins into each piece of acrylic is fairly easy, the only issue I ran into at times was using enough force to push the pin in all the way. The pins click twice upon installing. The first click is a light click to signal that the pin is on the right track and the second click confirms the pin is pushed completely into place. If for whatever reason the pins need to be removed the teardrop tool can be pushed against the jutting end of the pin using the flat side of the teardrop tool to push it back out. I only needed to remove one pin during one instance in which I had forgotten to install the soundproofing gaskets before placing the magnetic door and the pin subsequently came out with relative ease and force. The pins are made of two pieces, an inside pin and the shell surrounding it that clicks it in place, so if when removing the pin the inner piece comes out just reinsert said inner pin back into the shell and it's good to go. Another important thing to mention is that there are separate triangular connectors for the magnetic door. These connectors also have magnets installed into them, making the door piece attach to them when closed. The two types of connectors are packaged in two distinct packages, the magnetic one having "magnetic" very clearly written on the bag and the regular left unlabeled, but nonetheless I made sure when I opened the two packets of connectors to very purposefully separate the two types so as not to accidentally install the wrong connectors in the wrong placement. The construction steps go as follows: the first magnetic connector to the bottom mirror base, then the side acrylic panels, top connectors including the final magnetic connector, the magnetic door, and finally the top. Putting it all together was very smooth and I had no issues along the way. This next portion will be dedicated to any critiques I have of the product as a whole. Although I appreciate the idea of the sound-proofing gaskets I ended up not using them primarily because they would not stay in place. The door on my display in particular did not make any noise/squeak when opened so I found attempting to keep the gaskets in place more of an annoying chore than actual necessity. The strip of slip-proof pads are really cute and a good idea as well but I had to move the case a little bit and the pads did not stick and fell off upon adjusting the case's placement. Finally, the cleaning cloth that came with the case did little to help remove any of the hair, lint, or dust particles that got on the acrylic while I built it. It ended up just building static on the acrylic and the listed contaminants stuck worse to the acrylic. I ended up using a glasses cloth I had on hand to wipe off the contaminants. The glasses cloth worked like a charm so perhaps something akin to the glasses cloth I used would work more appropriately for cleaning the acrylic than the provided cloth for the case. Or if you happen to have any glasses lens cleaning spray on hand, it may reduce the likelihood of building static while using the provided cloth, although I am uncertain as to if this is the case as I did not try it for myself. All in all, the above critiques are nitpicks at best, and they did not affect my experience or rating of the product as a whole. As for how the final display looks it is absolutely breath-taking. The mirrors work in great favor to the figure and I love the shiny look of the acrylic. I have no doubt in my mind at this point that I made the correct choice in display cases with this one. I would also like to give a shoutout to the sellers of this display case, as the instruction manual is highly detailed not only in actual directions but also in solutions to potential issues that I could have come across while building the case. Furthermore, when I originally placed the order for this item, I got a message from the seller not only thanking me for the purchase of their case but also direction in how to reach them should I have had any questions or concerns and some helpful tips regarding the case (rotating the door for correct magnetic polarity and protective film reminders). There are also other methods of communication listed at the end of the manual should alternative routes be required. The entire process was super detailed and informative and it truly felt as if the seller truly cared to deliver a great product to me, to which I am extremely delighted at this point to say that this is a great product and I am well beyond pleased with it.For those that want a short and sweet rating, I highly recommend this display case for those that need a singularly focused method of displaying a beautiful item! 5/5 stars from me!
