i paid 30 bucks a dicks for gloves that were impossible for him to slip on and off. these go on and off easy and provide great protection.

My son hasn't used them yet, but I want to leave this feedback for those looking for help with sizing...as I was before I ordered these. There is no sizing chart that I can find from Vizari. I found a website that sells these, and other goalie gloves, which offered the following generic sizing system: measure around the widest part of the palm (knuckles), then add an inch to get glove size, My son is 8, average size (wife says our boys have wide hands and feet). His hand measured 6.75" around the knuckles. So we ordered a size 7, ignoring the website's advice to add a full inch. They are still definitely TOO BIG, as in, he has LOTS of dead space past where his fingers end. And there is side-to-side space as well. I just ordered a 6; we will save the 7s for next year. I might remember to update this once we receive the 6. And perhaps I will also add perspective as they are used. Initial impression is that they seem decent, especially for the price. Who knows how long until the soft rubber starts to break up. That's what it does; it is soft, after all--you want that for grip, so it can't be terrible durable as well. Like everything else in life, there is a trade-off.

I coach U10 girls soccer and ordered a size 5. My girls LOVE these gloves. They are comfortable and do an adequate job protecting their fingers. I do, though, have some feedback: The gloves do wear out rather fast. The palm is a soft material that allows a keeper to grab the ball better. And this material will start to wear out. I'm on my 2nd pair...1st pair delivered on 01/20/16, 2nd pair delivered on 02/11/16. We practice 2 nights a week and have games on Saturdays meaning the gloves get used 3 days a week for about 2 hours each day. After 10 uses, it was time for another pair. For the price...that's about a $1 per use. Not THAT bad. Next, and this is for all gloves...be sure you let them fully air out and dry after each use! If you don't, they will begin to smell. For me, I put them on the porch outside overnight. The next morning, I put the gloves, palms together with a dryer sheet in between, back in the original bag which, conveniently, is a zip lock bag.

I was hoping to get a par of gloves that lasted longer than 7 games, but it didn't happen. These gloves were affordable, and the kids loved the look, but the foam palms didn't stand up to average wear and tear. You might want to buy multiple pairs if you are not ready to buy an expensive pair of gloves.

I went by the reccomendation of some feedback here and ordered a size for for my 6 year old. They were a little tight so I returned for as size 5. I would say the size 4 is for kids 5 and under. Otherwise great set of gloves!
