I’m in love with this product. Sit down and get comfortable while I tell you way too much about myself.I used to have a small side business where we rented out little tents and mattresses for sleepover parties. We decorated with a few different themes depending on what the client wanted but all the tents got accentuated with fairy lights. I used the cheapest thing I could find on Amazon because they would get destroyed either during parties or from taking them down and putting them up over and over. They would get hopelessly tangled up and I would end up with a ball of tangled up fairy lights that I would stick in a jar or lantern and use that way for a while until they quit working. So why am I telling you this? To illustrate that I have a long and tumultuous relationship with string lights and I didn’t think these would be much better but I was wrong. The reel idea for storing these is genius. It keeps them from getting tangled and makes storing them super easy. It also makes for a nice and soft little lamp when the lights are all reeled up and turned on. I use it on my back patio deck to add a little atmosphere at night and when I’m done it takes about 5 seconds to reel them up and put them away until next time. The battery life is excellent. I highly recommend this product.

These lights are perfect to add temporary lights to the firepit area at our lake cabin - easy to put up for parties, and easy to take down.FUNCTIONI like how the lights store inside the puck, and how durable the lights are. To use the light string, you just pull the string out of the puck. There's a hook on the end of the light string so you can attach it to a pole, tree branch, or fence. Keep pulling the string out of the puck until all 32 feet of light is out, then drape the lights wherever you want them. You control the lights with the buttons on the round puck. The lights have different light modes you can set - from steady on to blinking. If you prefer, you can also use this light as just a lantern, without pulling the light string out of the puck. That's cool.QUALITYThis light set is made well. The round puck (lantern) portion is made of a thick, heavy-duty plastic. The plastic feels durable and not like plastic that will become brittle with age.The light string itself is also well made. The light cord is thick and coated to make it waterproof. The lights are a bright, natural toned light. They are not yellow tone or blue tone - just a really nice natural light. I like that. The lights are easy to wind back up inside the puck - just flip the reel handle and turn. Very easy. This reel works well and feels strong and sturdy.RECHARGEABLEThe light comes with a USB charge cord, but you will need to provide your own USB power adapter.Once fully charged, the lights last a long time - they stayed lit all night for us (5 hours), and still had power the next day.Overall, I'm very happy with this light string set and I do recommend it.

So these were awesome. Only trouble was, once they are up , they lost charge after one night and we had to take it all down to charge it which was inconvenient. Wish the charge lasted longer. Otherwise the looked so cool and easy to hang up. We took these camping and they looked cute fo r the first night they were on.

I love the warm light, it beautifies my space. The most exciting thing for me which is a huge plus is the fun way of storing the string with ease. It goes in so neatly and comes out whenever it's needed. I highly recommend it, product is of great value and very functional.

I got these for my classroom since we are not allowed to have plug in lights. I used them to highlight my board. I charge them and they do not take too long to charge but the battery starts to die and the light dim before I hit 6th period. I don’t turn them on until close to 2nd or after 2nd starts so that means they are last about 4 hours before they get quite noticeably dim. I ordered some battery powered light strands and I use rechargeable batteries, those are on the entire day and they last the week on those rechargeable batteries. I think this design could be better so that the battery lasts longer. Other than that they turn on easy, they have fun functions. I like them fine. They roll up into the base which is what I like about them. They use a c cord to charge and those are convenient enough to use.
