When you put this hat on, you better be ready to take a ride to Studsville... population: YOU!!!I've owned a lot of different caps including a Notre Dame, baseball cap and an army helmet, but this hat right here is going to get you an invitation to pound town.It's light and breathes well, but protects your head and upper neck from the Sun.You're going to look so good and be so debonair that random women are going to approach you and beg you to Father their children.You've been warned. Wear this hat with caution.

Looks civilized enough and covers the ears, but not too floppy. It is just a little loose, but fits pretty well (better than most bucket hats have).

Finding a hat that fits for my big noggin is not an easy thing. This hat fits well without having to force it on. I used it on a camping trip recently and really like that I can just crumple it up and stuff in my motorcycle’s pannier and then grab it out when I got to camp to protect my bald head from the CO sun at 8k feet. It has gone through the wash and come out good as new. It feels comfortable and not hot while also providing a little warmth when the sun went down.

I haven't worn the hat yet, so this review is based on first impressions. I bought it to wear with a kilt at a Celtic event that won't take place until June, but I'll likely wear it during golf before that if I have anything that it matches (I bought the red hat, and I don't normally wear much red). No, it isn't what one might think to wear with a kilt, but this event requires a hat for decent sun protection, and the typical Scottish hat doesn't offer much of that.First, the fit is excellent. I measured my head at a 22" circumference, and the 7 1/4 fits very comfortably without feeling like it's either too tight or too loose. Second, styling is very nice. I like the smaller brim, and the brim is such that it can be bent up in a variety of configurations, so it has some versatility in what look you want. And third, it feels very light, and should work nicely on a hot summer day.The only negative, if you can consider it that, is that there is no strap, so it might not stay put on a windy day. But I'm guessing that can be resolved if one is determined enough.
