I received the Vornado PROFILE Window Air Circulator on the perfect spring day, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite home appliances. I’ve tried a variety of window fans before, but this one stands out for its sleek design, quiet operation, and powerful air movement.Installation was simple—it fit securely in my standard double-hung window, and I appreciate the included foam panels that help seal the edges. It’s not bulky or clunky, so it doesn’t look like an eyesore from either side of the window.The reversible airflow is a huge plus. With a simple switch, I can choose between drawing fresh air in or exhausting warm, stale air out. It’s especially handy in the evenings when I want to flush the hot air out of the room and replace it with cooler night air. Not to mention I have a skylight in my bedroom which makes it feel extra hot, so this is perfect.Even on the highest of the three speeds, it remains impressively quiet. It’s been running for a few hours with no disturbances to my dog. I stepped outside and couldn’t hear a thing either. The low-profile design allows me to close the window almost fully, so I don’t lose as much insulation or security as with traditional box fans.If you’re looking for an energy-efficient, sleek, and quiet window fan that can both pull air in and push it out, this is a winner. Great for apartments, bedrooms, and anyone who wants to avoid running AC all the time.Highly recommend!

I already own another model of this window air circulation unit and have really enjoyed it during the summer months, so getting this one felt like a natural choice. That being said, I’m disappointed that it doesn’t come with a remote.While I don’t mind the lack of temperature automation, leaving out a basic remote to control speed and direction seems like a poor design decision, especially at this price point.Aside from that, the unit performs well. The fan speeds are adequate, installation is straightforward, and it circulates air effectively, as expected.The absence of a remote however is a real letdown, particularly considering how high some people might install it in their windows. Vornado is a brand I trust. I own multiple units from them, but this feels like a step backward for such a reputable name.

This fan comes in two sizes. The larger of the two seemed like it had better control for automatic switching between intake and exhaust that this one does not have (or at least I could not figure out.It does help with air circulation, which my regular AC unit was not doing well, and takes up much less space during spring and fall months.

I live in a house built into a hill. It stays cool downstairs 95% of the year. There are a few days where it's noticeably hot. The Vornado air circulator is a great add to the house. It can help pull warm out bringing the cooler air from the back of the house to the front. It's not at all noisy and the low profile is great for looks. It doesn't hang way out the window like a window A/C unit. It's very well made. Sturdy and easily holds the weight of the window above it. The white blends perfectly with the window frame and wipes clean. It works like a dream and is simple to operate. The remote is easy to use and doesn't interfere with the light coming through. It room stays nice and bright. Worth every penny!
