No hace nada de ruido. Da una brisa suave, pero es perfecta porque la tengo junto a la cara en el escritorio, así que a menos que quisiera morir como Isadora Duncan, no necesito un ventarrón. Su diseño es exquisito. Los acabados elegantes, hasta la caja donde lo mandaron estaba bonita. Es un artículo de alta calidad que tiene el diseño stream line de otra època. Puro neurótico escribe que hace mucho ruido. éjele: no. Es un placer a la vista, y quita el calor.

Llega en una bolsa mal sellada, el look de la pintura y los materiales es de muy baja calidad. Parece que es de segunda mano, usado y/o reacondicionado. He tenido varios Vornado por años, el nivel de ruido es bajísimo, pero este hace mucho ruido. Por eso no creo que sea original. Muy decepcionado.

Vornado makes the best table fans, and they are worth the price. This one is from their retro designer luxury line, and it's a work of art. It's heavy, mostly all metal, premium copper-on-black materials...even the packaging is deluxe (including a drawstring dust cover). The slow speed is the quietest I have ever heard, almost inaudible, yet it moves a whole roomful of air with that amazing Vornado turbulence. It is SO quiet that you can forget it's on. A dim amber power light would help, but it's really perfect just as it is.Although style and quality were decision factors, I bought it because you can take the whole thing apart and clean the grill, blades, case and even the motor housing separately. A ritzy owner's manual tells you how in great detail with diagrams. Fans need periodic cleaning. Otherwise, over time, you're just blowing dust accumulated on the fan into your room, and gumming up the works with the friction. This feature should really extend fan life far beyond the 5-yr warranty. Another example of spending more for quality up front to get better performance and longer life (the same goes for clothing, TVs, automobiles and just about everything else).Besides, it looks so sexy sitting there on the table. A beautiful blend of quality, style and function, made in the USA!

The fan itself is very loud notwithstanding the rattle on the back from a part that wasn’t fitted properly. It then stopped working after approximately 10 minutes of use.

Ok, so it's a high price tag, but I am shocked to say... there really IS a difference from other fans. Besides the piece itself looking so cool that you can call it "a piece" rather than "that basic af fan over there", there actually IS a difference in how this darn thing even blows the wind. I know. I didn't think that was a thing either. But the wind just wraps around you like a velvety air blanket of love, and it's WONDERFUL!! AND the fan sound is pretty much the most perfect fan sound to lul you into the blissful slumber you've been waiting for. Also a thing I didnt even know I was looking for. So, buy it for the epically perfect retro look (even better in person), be shocked with your air blanket of love, sleep well with your perfect fan sound, and know this is worth every penny.

My primary reason for getting this fan was because i need to sleep with a fan on due to tinitis. I was purposely going for a fan that makes a uniform and pleasant noise.I keep this fan on my desk and it's been great, moves air pretty well too for its size. Not to mention this fan visually looks awesome. I did have to put a foam pad under it though because it was audibly vibrating my desk but thats pretty minor. On a more sturdy table or surface this probably wouldn't be necessary
