All metal, no plastic, quite heavy and sturdy. Runs smoothly and quietly. Very good airflow. We’ve had ours for 6+ years and use it all summer. No problems and no changes. Great looks and great function.

I was nervous to buy as it’s kinda pricey. I like the style and color and kept coming back to hem and haw.I live in a loft without AC. My hope with the air circulator was to get the warm air moving upstairs. The fan is not facing towards me and yet I can feel a coolness moving around me as if it is. I think this is the circulator doing it’s thing.It’s came minimally but well packaged with the sturdy shaped cardboard that’s easy to recycle. It was very easy to put together. I really like the aesthetic and the shade of blue green works with my home. I don’t like the sounds of fans and am often bothered by overhead kitchen and bathroom fans. I don’t find this van overly loud or in a high or weird pitch.The fan is very sturdy and well made. I am happy with it and think it should last me for years.

I absolutely LOVE this fan and would highly recommend it to anyone!The design is so gorgeous, so retro! I chose green and it is divine! This fan Is also so sturdy and heavy and cools a room down beautifully!My only complaint is the noise level in the highest setting is akin to a plane engine roaring! (slightly annoying but tolerable!) It is however at a good noise level on the first and second setting!This is not a detractor for me in any way!I am so smitten that I have now ordered the smaller version as well!!

I really love the retro feel and the sturdy construction of this space fan. I live in a small apartment that gets in a lot of sunlight and my space definitely needs a good fan, which I found with Vornado. The sturdy metal adds to the charm of the Vornado designs. This is the third Tornado product I've purchased and now very loyal to the brand. MADE TO LAST
