This controller was just what I needed to get an extra strip I had laying around wired up. It can take power input from a barrel plug or you can insert wires directly into the terminal. It uses the Tuya platform which makes setup relatively easy and get working with Home Assistant. It connects over 2.4Ghz wifi, eliminating the need for a hub. It supports a couple different LED configurations and has a wiring guide printed on the housing. It doesn't step the voltage so you need to match the input with the output, I tested with a 12V strip and 24V strip and both worked great.

Works like stated no crazy setup. Have it wired to work with google home
