I am commenting more on the idea of this item, and corroborated with the numerous other reviews. I have used this brand for drives before and can say they are good. What was an issue for me and something I decided against in the end was the price. Its too much money for what it is. I desperately wanted a drive like this but I just cant justify such a large spend.

Expensive, but worth it. The ps5 Slim can now recognise a full 8tb so that's lot's of expansions and more games to have available instantly, without transferring back and forth.

A must have addition for the ps5 especially as the size of games is getting ridiculous. I'd say 8tb is now a minimum you need for games. The drive is very fast transferring from one drive to another. Very simple to install and a perfect fit. I cannot say if it speeds up loading of previous generation titles as I use an external hdd for those. A solid drive if you are lucky enough to get it on sale

Just finished installing the 8TB SSD into my PS5 Pro System & it was well worth the price.Unfortunately I was slightly late for work due to the Delivery Driver being late, but that could’ve been due to any reason for being late for all I know!?However, I’m happy with the Product & the Price tho!Thanx again to the Seller

Upgraded from a 4TB model, the biggest available when I got it a few years back, and now I got all the space I ned for a good few years at least. If upgrading from a similar sized drive to this one I'd suggest to save time have a compatible external drive to move your games onto then transfer the PS5 ones back over to the new SSD, much faster than downloading them all again, fortunatly I had a spare but they are fairly cheap & can run all your PS4 games if you want to leave the SSD for PS5 only (obviously depends on your internet speed as to if its a quicker way or not). Definatly worth picking up
