Incredibly disappointed in these. There is way too much give/stretch making them frustrating to ride with and use. Very soft and comfortable to hold, but functionally not great IMO. Color is also a lot more yellowish than photos would lead you to believe. I was super excited about these but after several rides both my mare and I are unimpressed

I was given some tack from a family friend and the reins were really long split reins that drove me nuts. I ordered these because it's one continuous rein which makes mounting a horse that moves a bit when you try to get on got a lot easier. It's a great length. It's not so long that there's a bunch extra hanging down to catch the saddle or other tack but long enough to give the horse some length for drinking and grazing. The reins are a soft material with a little stretch but nothing that bothered me. I ordered the lighter brown and it looks really nice. These reins are so great that I ordered another one for my husband.

Love, love, love these reins! Very soft feel and really light. Great for trail riding as you can stop and let the horse graze if you like, without dismounting. Long enough to give you the option to ride two handed as well. I added a set of scissor clips to have the option to easily switch to a different bridle. 5/5

Well made and very soft. They feel great in the hands and are the perfect length for a trail ride. The 10 feet allows your horse to graze and drink without you having to stretch out your arms or bend, but they aren't so long that you have miles of rein to gather up when your horse does lift his head and being one solid rein fixes my problem of dropping a rein like i used to when i had split reins . They do have some stretch to them when pulled, but seem to retain their length when the pressure is released.
