I've done a couple of these coins on my Snapmaker. They seem to be of good quality and accept the laser marking without issue. Rastafari! Not sure why a magnetic core is an issue and mention below. The description clearly states that is gold "Colored" and that the material is "alloy". I didn't see brass anywhere. Maybe I missed it. At any rate, I'm happy with them. Now I just need to figure out some cool stuff to engrave on them Some Dumbledore's Army coins, perhaps. Or maybe I' bust out the CNC and try my hand at 3D engraving. Lookout Gringots!

As a previous reviewer pointed out I bought these for laser engraving, and finally got around to testing them only to realize they are magnetic core. As such, these are fake brass coins, electroplated iron/steel core. Save yourself the time and money and skip this product.

These metal coins look great. They have a nice, solid heft to them. I did try them on my diode laser engraver, and there's no way they will take a mark. The listing doesn't specify the laser type that they'll work with, but I suspect they will only be engravable with a fiber laser. As a stamping blank they work well.

These blank coins are nice to have and fun to engrave on. They can be used to make coins for rewards, encourage, meeting milestones, or even to make as game pieces.

I returned this item but only because my engraver is not designed for themMy fault. They arrived quickly and well packaged. Appear to be of good quality.
