You cannot recover a file that you may accidentally delete.I found a work around that keeps me from deleting things permanently by moving them to a folder I called 'To Delete'. Once I am satisfied that I really want to delete the files I move to trash from there.Otherwise, I like the small form factor, low noise, best part is that it makes my data accessible over the internet on my phone or any computer I want to access from. You can even create a folder for other family or friends to access over the internet and share pictures.Final word is that I like it, but It would be a lot better if there was a recycle bin.

En teoría es fácil de configurar, pero como yo que no reconoce el disco soporte técnico no ahí l, he tratado por todos los medios comunicarme en inglés en español, por correo por chat y no he podido, creo que mejor lo voy a regresar

Works GREAT! It was easy to set up, and load >1TB of movies, pictures, music, documents. that that I need access to when traveling. This works way better than expected as just HHD drive storage. My Cloud is much more stable and very easy to use. Fast loading and fast accessing of data.I am confused by the negative reviews and wonder if the reviewers bought this for the wrong application or connected to the internet through some intermediate device like Vonage.Thank you Western Digital.

Estaba buscando un producto que me ayudara a librarme del Dropbox o drive y esta es la opción ya que puedo guardar y bajar lo que necesite desde un almacenamiento que se donde se encuentra físicamente (que es mi casa) asi tengo mas control y me despreocupo por saber si esta en un servidor publico o privado toda mi información.

EXCELENTE PRODUCTO, CUMPLE CON EL OBJETIVO. SIN EMBARGO TIENES QUE ENVIAR UN CORREO DESDE LA APLICACION DEL ADMINISTRADOR PARA QUE OPEREN EN OTROS EQUIPOS YA QUE NO FUNCIONA SI BAJAS TU LA APLICACION DE MY CLOUD A MENOS QUE EL ADMINISTRADOR TE LO ENVIE EL INSTALADOR POR CORREO.

Good price. Using as Plex Server. Only gripe is that you cannot set up movie libraries for genres. No big deal though as it works very well for that purpose

Most horrible product I have come across. Takes a Phd to use it.1. Does not work without an internet connection. Why the hell on earth do I need drive to be online, signed in, to access local content??. WD has gone too far in it's hunger for user data.2. Plex in it's worst form ever. It is a headache to use this app on this device. Everytime I boot up, have to scan all the media again to show it up????I have given up on it and turning to olx to get rid of it
