I picked up this safety harness to use as a backup for my hunting harness and for my kids to use when they came with me. The harness itself seems very well made, from the webbing to the stitching and even the hardware used. The hooks are large enough to fit many tie off points. I like the large padded back support area as well. The harness was comfortable enough to wear for longer periods of time. I didn't have the need to actually test the effectiveness of the fall arrest harness, and I hope I never have to.

I will be using this WHITEDEW Safety Harness for various tasks around the homestead...in particular, roofing projects.We have a steeply pitched roof and it covers a two story house...so our heights and angles do not lend to easy maintenance. A safety harness is certainly appreciated with these conditions.I still have to work out the anchoring plan...there is nothing to anchor to directly overhead.I was surprised to learn that shock absorbing lanyards with the cushion absorbing bag require at least 22 feet clearance between anchorage point to floor level. In many instances that will be hard to achieve...the anchorage point of 22' requires a project that has quite a bit of height to it, and then somehow the anchorage point has to be attached up there.The harness construction seems well done...I have confidence it won't fail with a person under 300 lbs.The adjustability is wide ranging and should fit most body types and heights.The comfort is so, so. It's difficult to be "comfortable" while wearing a full body harness.A nice feature is the body positioning rings at waist level...handy for tree climbing work, but definitely not for use as fall protection...only body positioning.

I'm of the age where I do not feel as safe walking about my roof to clean the gutters and cut back the trees. So I grabbed this harness to protect myself from any missteps. I found the harness to be easy to get into. Not a single strap or buckle felt less than bulletproof. I was secure in its ability that I walked the edge without hesitation. I haven't done that in years.
