My third graders love this series of books. Several of them even keep lists so they can check them off as they read them. They’re highly engaging for kiddos who are fans of nonfiction. The pictures give extra info to go along with the text. Timelines in the back of the book make it easy for readers to keep track of events in the books. Perfect for avid and reluctant readers alike!

I am a 3rd grade teacher and purchased this book for a student of mine to read. My entire grade level was reading the HQ series books for a project and I knew I had a football fan. When it came I was somewhat disappointed in the length. However, some celebrities probably have more history to write about. Student liked it and it worked out because a more difficult book could’ve been too challenging.
