Beware, the rear skewer is 5mm short of being usable for 135mm rear hubs. So 'road' here means the old 130mm rim brake standard, unless you have unusually thin (e.g. steel) drop-outs.

Gonna strip them for sure. First tighten it rounded under very light hand tight pressure. But hey if they are stripped your wheel will be even more safe…spend a few more bucks on better ones.

I prefer to use this style of skewer as opposed to traditional quick release. Cleaner look, and a mild theft deterrent, as it makes stealing your wheels a little more complicated.These skewers were about 1/2 of the price of the name brand variety I've used in the past, and the fit, finish and overall quality seems about the same. I'll call that a win.

Lighter than previous quick release levers I've tried. so far so good. first order was MTB style even though I ordered the road model. Finally have the road model on and it looks good so far. Was interested in trying this to save some weight

Both skewers fit well. Both tightened up well and seem to do a good job securing the wheels. Very easy to install. Although the back one could’ve been a bit longer. But, my drop outs are kind of thick so maybe thats why. Quality construction and piece of mind that my wheels will be safer in the city. Would recommend.
