I bought this for a 5 year old and it was perfect for her personality! Looks like a sweet little teddy, then gnarls his teeth and looks frightening - SHE LOVED IT!

It is a good friend, a happy friend. It desires only good things for us. It watches over our home now, and its brothers and sisters want to watch over yours too. I.... I think that's what it wanted me to say. Its hard to remember with its eyes watching from the shelf. Such...such a friendly smile. Good bear... good, good teddy bear.

I have given these to little ones a few times and each one is appreciative of getting a stuffed animal and absolutely delighted when it growls at them. The ages range from 3-7, boys and girls. They work well and hold up well. The only issue on occasion is the size of the child's hand may not be able to reach around the head to make the animal growl.

Honestly at first glance, it was smaller than I expected, but that's on me. The size is listed in the description. After I took it out of the box and tried it out, the size is perfect. If it was a foot tall, it would be more expensive and you wouldn't feel the urge to collect the whole set of Feisty Pets! The biggest surprise is that these are WELL MADE stuffed animals. Even if you never revealed the "feisty" side, you would still just like it as a regular teddy bear. The fur is plush and soft and the eyes are cute and friendly. That's what makes it so cool... Looking at it, you wouldn't think that there's anything different about it until it shows it's attitude. I gave this to a female friend for a Christmas present and she loved it. You can't just give somebody a scary, creepy ass bear... but if you give them a friendly bear that they can turn INTO a scary, creepy ass bear, they'll love ya for it. Well, anyone with a sense of humor will love ya... Those who are easily offended should probably look elsewhere.Speaking of looking elsewhere, these are next to impossible to find locally. I only found one store that even sells them and they were sold out. Thank goodness for Amazon (as usual.)I'm not sure how long it will stay functional but so far it seems very well made, so I'm not worried. If it should stop working or start falling apart, I'll update the review. In the meanwhile, I'd recommend this bear to anyone who reads the description and says "HELL YEAH I WANT THAT!"

Got this, and the husky version, to put in my daughter's stockings (ages 12 & 21) to carry on the yearly tradition of Santa leaving stuffed animals hanging out of the top. While they look cute, in their "natural" states, they are super creepy, once you activate the 'Grrr' faces. Haha, I'm a little nervous about my 12 year olds response, as we had a Furby incident a couple of years back, where she was dying for one, and after a few days of it constantly making noise, it made her feel sad and anxious, like she was hurting it by ignoring it. She's a little sensitive, and the Furby ended up being thrown off our third story deck - just to end the madness. I don't anticipate this guy getting tossed, as you have the option to leave him in a "cute" state!The only reason I gave 4 stars, instead of 5, is due to the size. These are pretty small. While the product description gives the dimensions, it would be a vast improvement to make these a couple of inches larger (and the creepy impact would be that much greater)!
