A long time ago while at another business I used to purchase one of these for more than twice the price I paid for this. A useful and time saving tool to make taco bowls without the annoying breakage that comes with pre-made tortilla bowls. The basket weight are well distributed to prevent tortillas from floating up while frying. Winco is a well known brand for food wares.

The largest flour tortilla works best with this! It is larger than I wanted, but worked amazingly well for a Mexican family dinner.

Got it , tried it and the taco wrap kept collapsing in the fryer. Not what I expected. Basket was too deep for my purpose. But I will try to work with it since I have it.

Great tool to make taco salad bowls at home. Arrived on time from Amazon. Product can handle tortillas from 8" round to 14" round as long as you have a pot or fryer that large and deep. Handle is exactly the right length so you can hold the tortilla just off the bottom of the pot without getting hot oil jumping up to your hands. I found it best to use uncooked tortillas rather than already cooked ones - you get a much better crisp on the bowl whereas with the already cooked the center will still be soft no matter how long you cook. For those reviews that say they need to have an exterior basket on the outside I don't believe are doing it right. Lay the tortilla on the surface of the oil with a pair of thongs and then just center the bottom of the basket on the tortilla and press down toward the bottom of the pot - the force of the oil will press the rest of the tortilla around the outside of the basket and cook it trough and the shape will hold once you remove.
