You can read dozens of expert reviews, look at cut-apart diagrams, and comb through car forums inhabited by crusty old mechanics. Or you can save time and take my word for it: They all say that WIX filters are great quality, consistently produced and pretty reasonably priced (but not the cheapest). So why would you buy anything else? I use both oil and air filters in all my cars and my kid's car which I help him take care of.

This Wix 57002 filter is the correct filter for my 2015 Mazda 3. It also fit my 2012 Mazda 3 skyactiv. Wix makes OEM fitment and spec filter so that's cool.

I trust wix products and the build quality. But the packaging is very flimsy and not sealed. Also Amazon delivers the oil filter in a very thin plastic bag. When I received the product was out of the factory packaging and it had a dent on the filter. Looks like the delivery guy just threw it at the door step. Amazon did replace the order.
