Bought this for my 6 year old son (and the Hermoine wand for my 8 year old daughter). The wand is plastic with a small button to activate, but decent enough quality. Quite impressive and after installing the (not included) 3x AAA batteries they were quick to get it going. It takes a few attempts to get the partonus to light up and respond but that’s because no child will read that .06 font size operational manual. Still, after a few tries they are thrilled to wave the wand (the tip lights up) and point it at the patronus and have it light up with sounds.Now the real question is how you do stop a 6 year old waking up at 6am yelling “EXPECTO PATRONUM!!!!!” Over and over again. Lol. Best alarm clock ever.It brings joy to see your children having fun.5 stars.

Bought this for my daughter. Wand only works on toy, doesn’t turn water into ice sculptures.

Bought for my 6 year old who has just started getting into the Potter fandom. The sounds and lights are a cute touch. She loves her wand, to the point it had to go to school with her to show it off.

A mi hija le encantó, es fan de Harry Potter. Solo debes tener cuidado pues es un poco fragil la varita, pues se golpeó con una caída y la punta se desprendió. Sin problema la pegué de nuevo con pegamento instantaneo.

Llegó en perfecto estado. La varita trae pilas, la nutria usa 3 pilas AAA (se compran a parte). Como dicen, el plástico es un tanto cristalino, pero me parece un muy buen producto. La nutria es como de silicón. Tanto la varita como el patronus tienen luz, y el patronus tiene sonido.

This spell wand with an otter figure has completely captivated my younger granddaughter. She is a huge Harry Potter fan, which she inherited from her teenage sister. The set appears and feels cheap, but it has a great deal of fun factor. The otter needs three AAA batteries, and the wand needs three LR44 batteries. I believe it should have at least came with the little LR44 batteries for the convenience, as this is not something most people have on hand. If I hadn't, my granddaughter would have been upset because she was overjoyed when she spotted this play set. To use the otter, simply switch it on, click the wand's button, and point it at the otter.The otter comes alive, lights up with beautiful sounds. The wand has three different power levels, each of which produces distinct light effects and sounds on the otter. However, practising casting spells and levelling up to the ultimate light display is the secret. Overall, this is a fantastic toy that every Harry Potter lover should have.
