I got this specifically to use at my desk as a means to hold my tablet which I could use as an additional monitor/computer and for that it's working great!It took only seconds to set this thing up. It clips on firmly with a wide enough grip to fit on most desks or other surfaces.The clip that fits on the tablet/phone is plastic but the rest of this is all metal. The tightening bolts are easy to tighten with enough force that the tablet isn't slipping down. The tablet/phone clip can open wide enough to easily fit a tablet of any size in horizontal layout. If you want vertical layout you need to clip in horizontal and just rotate the joint.One minor complaint I have is that there is only the 1 adjustment tab that control 2 joints. So trying to get this into initial position can be a bit tricky. And once in position you can't have it held up while still being able to swivel without loosening everything. But if you don't plan on moving this around a lot it's really a non-issue.All-in-all a great mount that holds on to your phone/tablet nicely and can firmly hold to a desk. Even if you are tapping the device it stays sturdy.

I decided to put this in my kitchen so I can easily look at my tablet when cooking different recipes, and so far it has held up really well! It has a good amount of resistance when pushing on the screen without the tablet moving backwards, which is great since I am using an old tablet for the kitchen, which can be unresponsive at times. It provides counter space, which I desperately need, and securely grips the tablet I use, which is a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

I got this tablet clamp to use in my kitchen with my 7 inch tablet. The clamp has a decent grip when clamping to my kitchen cupboards. Unfortunately, my tablet width wise is too thin for it, but it works just as fine if I use it horizontally.I suppose you could use this in your vehicle, but only if the vehicle is in park. The clamp has no issues mounting to a sun visor.What I like most about this tablet mount is the actual tablet holder itself. The holder has good springs with a nice stretch to them. I also liked that there are multiple mounting points either on the back or the sides of the holder. You can also connect the holder to a tripod mount or anything with the tripod screw. The notches also allow you to plug in your tablet to charge at the same time without the wires being in the way.The only thing I didn’t like about this tablet mount is the ability to tighten the holder. It’s a plastic thumb screw and I found it was a little difficult to twist and lock in place. I would’ve preferred a metal twist lock instead of plastic. For what it is, it does the job for what I need and doesn’t take up too much space.
