I don’t understand how this product has good reviews. I have purchased a number of Peak Ice square trays and have been happy enough with them to give them as gifts.The water bottle trays are terrible. I exchanged the first one and the second was just as bad so it’s obviously a problem.Because of the curve in the tray the water spills everywhere and even if you fill them in the freezer the curve/bulge makes the ice thin in the middle causing the ice to melt faster.I tried working with the company directly and they sent me a replacement that had the same problem. I’m going to look for a better product.

The trays themselves have a metal surround so very easy to fill and the cover makes it very easy to move from the sink to the freezer. Ice is also very easy to remove. SIlicone still has a slight odour but we put the tray and lid in the dishwasher and the smell is fading. Smell does not seem to transfer to the ice. Well constructed.

Perfect for my 22 oz water bottle - I usually pop two long cubes into mine. I want to get a couple more more of these trays so I can have different ice cubes: plain and with different infusions like lemon, lime or cucumber inside the cubes.
