They shrink and kind of short I don’t look that way in the picture, but they come high above the knee almost like a girls cut.

My son does not always like wearing jean material, but he will wear these shorts without complaint. These jean shorts fit him perfectly thanks to the adjustable inner belt. It was wonderful to be able to adjust the waist to the exact size he needs now, but to know that I can slowly let it back out as he grows over the summer. The material also appears to be very durable. I definitely recommend these shorts.
